Babette Mangolte is already well known to Archive audiences for her superb cinematography on Chantal Akerman's Jeanne Dielman... and News From Home. We are very pleased therefore to present her own film, her second feature actually (two years ago we showed her directorial debut film, What Maisie Knew), and to have her as our guest as well. Ms. Mangolte is currently teaching film in the Department of Visual Arts at UC/San Diego.
