Readings from three poets. Wendy Trevino’s poems have appeared in various journals, including Abraham Lincoln, and her chapbook Brazilian Is Not a Race was published in 2016. MK Chavez, author of the collection Dear Animal, is codirector of the Berkeley Poetry Festival and curator of Uptown Fridays. Los Angeles native A'aron Heard majored in Creative Writing at USC, but now calls Oakland home and teaches at Alliance Academy Middle School.
