Curator’s Circle members are invited to a screening of Ingmar Bergman’s late film After the Rehearsal (1984), a far-reaching meditation on life, theater, and the connections between the two. The screening will be followed by a four-course dinner with wine pairing prepared and served by Babette chefs Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker.  

Special guest Katinka Faragó—the Swedish filmmaker who for decades worked with Bergman as a script consultant, continuity expert, production manager, and producer— joins Senior Film Curator Susan Oxtoby for a discussion before the screening, and continues to dinner with Curator’s Circle members after the film.
